On Attendance

Please be considerate – register and attend. If you can’t attend a session, drop it!

The ILC welcomes staff and students to join our language enhancement workshops and we will do our best to offer them for free, as they are now. However, some students who have registered for the workshops often fail to turn up. This means:

• other interested students are unable to register when the workshop is full, and
• resources are wasted when too many handouts are prepared.

To improve the situation, any one who has registered but failed to attend three times will be barred from registering for ONE semester. We therefore urge you to de-register or ‘drop’ the workshop in the system if you find that you cannot attend.
