Putonghua for Foreigners (Elementary Level 1)

This course is organized for all non-Chinese speaking students of the University and focuses on Putonghua in daily lives. Its main purpose is to teach the most frequently used characters, words, sentences and conversational skills. Through acquiring skills in speaking Putonghua, students will get to know about traditional Chinese culture, hot topics on current affairs and the Chinese views on moral issues.

簡介：
本課程面向外籍人士，重在「有用」。字、詞、句和內容力爭做到急用先學。學員除能夠掌握一般的日常會話以外，還能了解中國的傳統文化、價值觀以及社會熱門話題等方面的內容。

語言：英語輔以普通話

Putonghua for Foreigners (Elementary Level 2)

This is a continuation of Putonghua for Non-Chinese Speaking Members (Elementary Level 1). Focus will be on Putonghua in daily lives. Emphasis will be put on conversation and practical grammar.

All non-Chinese speaking students of the University with basis knowledge of Putonghua are welcome to join.

This course lasts for one semester, with 2 teaching hours on one topic every week. The medium of instruction will be English and Putonghua.

本課程為對外漢語(基礎1)的延續，重在「實用」，除字、詞、句的學習外，將較注重日常會話。

對象：具基礎普通話知識的本校外籍學生
