Putonghua Express for Foreigners
This series of workshops (totalled four) aims to provide English speakers with basic knowledge of Putonghua. The first workshop introduces the sounds and tones as well as the most commonly used expressions for everyday life. The subsequent workshops would acquaint workshop participants with practical vocabulary and sentence patterns for daily conversation through accomplishing simple speaking tasks in Putonghua. Each workshop would be facilitated based on a central theme. Additionally, self-learning resources would be introduced. Through acquiring skills in speaking Putonghua, students will also get to know about Chinese culture and how Chinese sentences are constructed differently from English.

簡介：
本課程針對外籍人士的需要，重在「有用」。字、詞、句和內容務求做到急用先學。藉發音和課堂練習讓學員掌握日常會話並加深對中國文化的認識。此外，導師還會介紹中心資源以便學員自學。
對象：本校外籍學生
