How has the rise of digital media affected our social and political interactions? Can we trust the information we encounter online? During this workshop, you will undertake a guided reflection on these questions, while exploring broader themes of digital equality, digital safety, and digital literacy. You will discuss contemporary issues and collaborate on potential solutions with other participants, and consider the application of concepts such as misinformation, disinformation, and the digital self.
(Note: Attendees of all three GC Series workshops (1. Intercultural Communication; 2. Media and Technology; 3. Global Labour and Employment) will receive a Global Citizenship Certificate from the ILC.)
