全書分為九部分,作者以「辯論」思考法為切入點,說明如何通過自學應對未來挑戰。當中導論(頁31 - 50)回應終身學習的必要性,所涉事例雖以日本為背景,惟放諸今日香港之環境,依然具有參考價值。而第六章(頁203 - 224)則專論搜集資料與引證方法,作者特別指出大學生須揚棄但求應付考試的思考模式,尤富啟發意義。全書結構嚴謹,讀者閱後當能對終身學習的意義有更實質的了解。


從字句到結構 : 學術論文寫作指引

全書分為九部分,作者以幫助讀者減少學習困難為目標,從學習管理、編製筆記及記憶方式等角度,介紹終身學習的實用技巧。其中第七章(頁133 - 158)介紹SQ3R、Super 6R及OK4R等讀書法,讀者可按照自身需要,選擇合適方法,以期更深入地理解書本內容。而第八章(頁159 - 180)則在說明增強記憶的原理後,列舉分類法、形象法、串連法等方法,務求協助讀者增強記憶力。
