Date: 18 April 2024 (Day 1)
Time: 11:30 - 13:00
Speaker: Ms. Bernice Chan
Location: Digital Scholarship Lab
Choosing the appropriate journal for publishing your paper is of utmost importance, as you are only allowed to submit your manuscript to one journal at a time. It is equally crucial to be able to recognize predatory journals and refrain from publishing your articles in such journals. In this session, we will provide an introduction to the process of ascertaining the rankings of journals in different fields using Scopus and InCites Journal Citation Reports. Additionally, you will gain knowledge about the characteristics of predatory journals and the tools available to help you steer clear of them.
