Advice on how to produce successful, i.e., publishable research papers in English, abounds. However, this advice often does not present a coherent picture of how the language of publishable research papers works. The goal of this session is to help writers identify these features and understand how and why they work together, so that they can replicate these features in their own writing. In this session, participants will analyse and discuss these features, and learn with other writers who are working towards the same goal – publication of their work.
