Dr. Sarah E. Webb

Dr. Sarah E. Webb was born and brought up in the UK. She obtained a BSc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry at the University of Bath, and a PhD in Cell Biology from King’s College London. She has worked in Hong Kong for over 30 years, first at the CUHK and then at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Webb brings many years of experience in writing, proof reading, and editing scientific papers, and has published more than 100 research articles, reviews, and book chapters during her career. In addition to her publishing achievements, she has taught numerous scientific writing courses and workshops, mentoring PG students in effective communication. For the past 12 years, Dr. Webb has also directed EDITXL, a company dedicated to supporting academics and students in Hong Kong and China with professional proof-reading and editing services.
