Dr. Paula Hodgson

Dr. Paula Hodgson was one of the pioneers in advocating technology-mediated learning in Hong Kong. She worked in higher education since 1997 for over two and half decades, and served The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Auckland, University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and University of Wollongong College Hong Kong. Her research areas included technology-enriched teaching and learning, assessment in higher education, and massive open online courses. Serving in the Centre for Learning Enhancement and Research in CUHK between 2015 and 2019, she led a variety of institutional projects as a principal investigator and a co-principal investigator in UGC funded projects. She was invited to present in universities in Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Russia and share exemplary practices.
